Organic Mining
1st Step
Opening the mining area and removal of the topsoil. Our research and experience has shown that the topsoil is not very mineral rich and hence we remove it.
2nd Step
The topsoil is moved and stored securely to retain the natural composition. We do this because the topsoil is repurposed later.
3rd Step
Mining activity proceeds in an environmentally friendly manner and no chemicals are used in the entire process of mineral extraction.
4th Step
At the end of mining activity in a given area a process of fertilization of the topsoil that was set aside in step 1 is done in preparation for re-introduction to its original place.
5th Step
Since no chemicals are used during the mining process, the fertilized topsoil is able to be used for farming by the local community. This ensures the economic sustainability of the community long after the mine is closed.
